Abba Castilla Plaza Hotel was built in 1993 and its decoration is warm and inviting. Rooms are furnished to meet the needs of a business trip, but also have all the comforts for a recreational stay. Ideal for business travellers, the hotel has excellent connections to the IFEMA trade fair grounds and the Palacio de Congresos conference centre on the Paseo de la Castellana.

Front desk staff were not very pleasant. Restaurant was a complete rip-off, which is probably why it was empty. Other than that, good location, nice room and good house-keeping staff.

While the hotel was good in general, I found the staff (with the exception of the breakfast restaurant) unavailable (empty front desk most of the times, hardly managed to see any of them) and not very friendly. Could do with some customer-orientated training.
