Granada's climate brings four distinct seasons across which the weather is fairly predictable and subject to only minor variations from year to year. Summers are hot, winters are cool and spring and autumn are typically transitional seasons. Rainfall is never especially heavy, although December is generally the wettest month of the year by a noticeable margin.
Casa de los Tiros or “House of Shots” is a splendid Renaissance palace that dates right back to the 16th century and takes its name from the musket barrels that are an integral feature of its façade. The building was the former home of a Spanish aristocratic family and now belongs to the city, serving primarily as a tourist attraction. Notable external features include the statues of Greek mythological characters such as Hercules, Hector, Jason, Mercury and Theseus, while inside the portraits of Catholic monarchs and the Hall of Gold (Cuadra Dorada) are especially impressive. Sightseeing activities are top on the agenda for most holidaymakers visiting Granada and not without good reason. The magnificent Alhambra alone is reason enough to come to the city and an attraction that's not to be missed, even if you are required to queue for some time to see it. The cathedral and its Royal Chapel can be pencilled in not far below the Alhambra on a list of must-sees in Granada.
Granada's public transport system is comprised of buses only, although the network is fairly extensive and spreads across the city and out into the urban areas so it provides a pretty efficient means of getting around and an economical one at that.
EU citizens may bring and unspecified amount of alcohol, tobacco or other goods into or out of Spain provided they are entering from or exiting to a country within the union. Excessively large volumes will attract the attentions of Spanish customs officers and in such situations an onus is on the individual to prove that the good are for personal use only and not for resale.

This month's lucky winner is Mr. Laith Addabbas who lives in Jordan.
