Good hotel in a great location--very convenient. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Our only complaint was that the room was too hot and there was no way to make it cooler. ...

Our stay at the Seoul Sejong Hotel was a very pleasant experience. The one thing we did not like was the occasional smell of cigarette-smoke that the airconditioning transported into our room.

The staff went out of the way to help directions, transportation, restaurants etc. Very nice atmosphere, wonderful stay.

Very disappointing. The room was small and cramped and very outdated. The airconditioner never made the room cool enough to be comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was of a good size for the 3 of us. Location was excellent. Subway a stone throw away. Food and shopping within 10 mins walk. Airport shuttle stops right in front of the hotel. I would definitely go back to the same hotel if I visit Seoul again.

Sejong Hotel has all the convenience for hotel guests especially the tourists. It is located extremely close to the busy shopping district. The subway is just by the side. It is 2 stations away from Namdaemun & Dongdaemun. Supermarkets, restuarants & pubs are just around the corner. Airport shuttle bus stops right at the doorstep. Free transport is available daily for shopping from 12.00 midnight to 5.30am at Doosan Tower. This is a fantastic arrangement for the hotel guests. My daughter & I arrived in Seoul early in the cold morning & when we realized Sejong Hotel counter staff would allow me to check in readily with no additional charges, I knew it would be a pleasant stay for me. It was a double gladness when we were upgraded to a bigger & better room accompanied by friendly and polite hotel staff. Counter staff were very service oriented. They attended to every small enquiries & requests. Recommendations for restuarants & shopping malls flow freely.Outback Steak is just next to the hotel and taking western meals in the hotel cafe restuarant will not be disappointing. I strongly recommend the tenderloin steak with mushroom sauce. All rooms cater for laptop usage & the business centre is at the ground floor. Apart from being a little old, I find no reason for not going back to stay in Sejong Hotel whenever I go to Seoul from now onwards. Thanks to those who share their wonderful experience staying in Sejong Hotel. I am glad I made the same right choice to stay in Sejong H

The room was big and very clean, very quiet although the hotel is on a main road, a lot of shops, restaurants and bars around.

Clean and spacious rooms. Large flat screen TV. Bathroom is almost 5 star. The best Buffet restaurant is just downstairs. The doorman was very helpful to get a taxi and translate to the driver in Korean. Ultimate location right in the heart of myeongdong. Meoyondong underground station is just next to the entrance of this hotel. Coach to airport stops here. Broadband via ethernet cable-cost 10.000won per day. I would give it an A rating for anyone who wants a reasonably priced hotel in the shopping district of Seoul.

I was expecting more from what I saw on their website and when I saw the lobby on previous trips. The room was spacious but the furnishings and bathroom were old and looked worn out. I was totally surprised when I walked into the room coming in from the hallway and the lobby because it's a whole different atmosphere/ambience. Location was great and transportation was very much accessible - that was the best part. Airport bus stop and subway station is right in front, they have shuttle to and from Dongdaemun market from midnight till dawn, and myeongdong shopping area is a second away.

For Asia, this was a great hotel for the rate I paid. It has a good lobby and decent sized room, not new but good enough. Dont like that you have to pay extra to use gym.
