this hotel was perfectly located near all the action. be aware that on friday & saturday nights this shopping area will be very crowded with u.s. soldiers on weekend leave. there is a nightclub that is joined to the side of this hotel so there was a thumping base sound in the early a.m. hours, not enough to bother me though. great value for the money....

My partner arrived before I did and checked in. When I arrived I found it difficult to check in (and I was the one who had done the booking!) We were given two singles instead of the double I had requested - they would not change room. The staff were rude and not hospitable. The location was really good but I doubt I'll stay again.

Location of the hotel to the downtown area was good. Overall, the rooms were okay but beds horribly uncomfortable.The staff struggled to communicate in English, but made a very good effort.I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is quite dated but it is clean and safe and the location is quite good - a few mins walk from Itaewon Station. For the area I think the price is quite good and I would recommend this hotel as a first night hotel for somebody who has never been in Korea before.

Value for money, convenient location (especially for Foreigners who want to do some clothes shopping), friendly and helpful staff, short walk to some really nice restaurants (as the hotel's restaurant was closed for refurbishment while we were there). We would stay here again.

The room smelled like wet paint. The staff was ok. The ventilation was not very good mostly too warm and stuffy. When I took my computer to the front desk to be placed in a locker it was left out behind the desk. Overall not a very nice hotel.

First off, the location is excellent if you're into shopping. It's on one end of the Itaewon drag, right next to the Thai Orchid Restaurant. About a 5 minute walk to the subway, and accross the street from the airport shuttle bus, which the hotel itself does not provide, but you can buy tickets for it at the front desk. Current price is 13,000 Won, about a 1 hour trip to the airport. As for the hotel itself, other than the friendly staff, it's tired looking and feeling. The rooms are also tired looking and feeling, but are otherwise clean. If location is all that you're into and want to save a bit of cash over the more centrally located Hamilton Hotel, then I recommend it. If not then head someplace else.

the high rate of the hotel rate is not for the hotel itself, it is for the area where it is at. the hotel was not impressive but was a convenient area for foreigners.
