Hamilton Hotel Seoul, is a pretty basic hotel, that is perhaps better suited to anyone travelling on a shoe string than business executives. It's rooms are pleasant, clean and comfortable and the service within the hotel friendly.

I love this hotel because its in Itaewon. I would recommend this hotel to all Muslims who is visiting Seoul. The location is very strategic. The Seoul Central Mosque is just round the corner. There are a lot of halal restaurants and halal food outlet nearby. Basically there are a lot of Muslims in this part of the town. Another good thing is that the subway underpass is just outside the hotel. The subway will take you anywhere around Seoul and its very cheap.

No complaints concerning price and location but expect street noise through the night; excellent for Itaewon though. 10,000 won for a mediocre breakfast was however a little steep I thought.I was shocked when I checked out to be charged an additional fee ($6) for using the toothbrush and disposable razor which were provided in the room. There was nothing to indicate that these items were not complimentary. This left a sour taste in the mouth and I won't be staying here next time I am in Seoul.

We had a three-night stay at the Hamilton Hotel this August. I was very disappointed with the hotel - although the location is great (in front of Itaewon station), the hotel itself is very rundown, old and in desperate need of repairs. It has a no-frills almost bare really small rooms and all the advertised facilities (swimming pool, fitness center) are charged separately. For the same price, I have stayed in much better hotels in Seoul.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The double sized bed was a little small, but I am someone who likes to spread out when she sleeps... so it was a tight fit for two people, considering that. I'm sure it would be fine for normal sleepers :) I was very pleased with the room and price, and you couldn't beat the location in Itaewon! It was incredibly central! I'll definitely stay at the Itaewon Hamilton Hotel again :)

Great value for money with one exception - internet access in the room should be at no additional cost. Staff is friendly, caring and professional. Hotel and the rooms are well maintained and kept very clean. A room safe would add to the feeling of security for many guests. Location is good in general and was excellent for my needs. I would certainly stay in the Hamilton again and recommend it to business associates and friends.

The hotel location excellent due to its proximity to the subway station and the Itaewon main shops and restaurants , but the setback is, it is quite noisy at night, with noise coming from the nearby nightclubs/bars or from the traffic.

The room smelled like mildew and the staff were quite rude. When I arrived the man behind the desk didn't say a word to me, just pushed a paper and pen at me. After filling it out, he said "Voucher" and that was the extent of our interaction. The next morning when I asked where a hair salon was they looked at me like I was a talking dog. I spoke with friends (which I wish I had done beforehand) and they confirmed that this is the norm for The Hamilton. Although the location is good, I will NEVER go back.

We were supposed to have 1 doulbe bed and 1 single bed but ended up with 2 single beds. The T.V. picture was dark which made it hard to see anything. Our room was on the side of an ally and on a couple nights there was loud noise that woke us up. The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. We had to go to the Military base everyday and the hotel was a 20 minute walk or inexpensive taxi ride. Overall, the the hotel couldn't be in a better location.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Hamilton. My wife and I were upgraded to a deluxe room too. For location, price and helpfulness of the staff, you cannot find better for a Hotel of this standard.

The location of this hotel is very good, close to the subway, but the rooms are small and not very clean. Also, I requested a non-smoking room only to be told on arrival that no rooms are designated non-smoking. In all, I would not choose this hotel again.

Good central hotel. A basic Motel6/Best Western standard, but very acceptable for a bed to crash in. Good rates for the level of room.

I'm very disappointed because the Hamilton Hotel in seoul didn't fulfill my wishes. The most critical point concerns the cleanness of the bedroom and specially the bathroom. When we were checked in, some food and drink were still in the room, and the bathroom was not cleaned. Except this point, the location of the Hamilton Hotel is good in order to visit Seoul (downtown). The Hotel is close to subway and bus stop to Incheon Airport.

Hotel rooms are bigger and a little nicer than they appear in photos. Location is top notch if you plan to go out at night in Itaewan. Airport bus goes right to hotel too. The Hamilton offers a bad rate for money exchange. Use your ATM or switch your money at the airport. I couldn't find anything else near the hotel.

Location of hotel is excellent. Subway is located just outside the hotel. Need not incur a single cent on taxis fare at all throughout the stay. Hotel staff was really helpful in enlightening us in all our queries. No complaint at all! What more to ask when we were upgraded to deluxe room! Also, food and convenient stores are aplenty around the hotel vicinity. Highly recommended for anyone who are on leisure to stay in this hotel.

Personally there is nothing big about the hotel. I am actually impressed only with HotelTravel.com. There was a need for a sudden one day extension, i was not sure how things will move with hotel stuff. But it was a breeze, i just had to call the customer service office and thats it.

The rooms are narrow and the desk clerk didn't know about the 3 different Thai restaurants that were less than three blocks away.
