Grand Hyatt is stale. Management has milked its strengths for too long, that being a good western style entertainment area, excellent lobby and excellent view. The rooms are jaded, poorly appointed, and downright dowdy. Nothing seems to have changed for the last 13 years I've been visiting Korea. Not even the paintings or limited edition prints on the walls behind the reception area. I'd most likely stay south of the river in one of the many nice new hotels next time.
