Jeju has its own international airport that maintains connections with mainland Korean cities such as Busan, Daegu, Gwangju, Jinju, Kunsan, Mokp'o, P'ohang, Seoul, Ulsan, Yecheon, and Yeosu as well as with major Asian destinations including Tokyo, Hanoi, Manila, Bangkok, Shanghai, Siem Reap and Hong Kong. There are also flights to and from Vladivostok, Munich and Minneapolis.
The airport’s single terminal offers all essential passenger facilities, including ATMs, a bank, bureaux de change, shops and restaurants. Ample parking spaces are provided with both short and long-term options available. Public buses run regularly (every 20 to 25 minutes) to the city from outside the terminal. There’s also an airport shuttle that connects with Jeju City, Seogwipo City, and the Jungmun Tourist Resort. Taxis can also be hired from outside the terminal.

Buses run from Jeju’s central bus station to various destinations across the island, including Seogwipo and theJung-Mun Tourist Complex. For tourists, the number 100 is the most useful service, connecting with the airport and most of the island’s major hotels.

Taxis are also available and operate on a metered fare basis and while they are a convenient means of getting around, they are by no means cheap. Car hire is the best option for visitors planning extensive travel. There are agencies both at the airport and in the city centre.
