The bed and the way it was made was really uncomfortable. Otherwise i would have rated it as excellent. City hall MRT in the basement and the area is well served by Taxis. Big pool and good depth for young kids

excellent hotel. booked a triple room ... was more than adequate. breakfast menu great. only problem: did ask for as high a floor as possible got 7th floor (26 floors) so view limited. thank you for your service ... will definitely book through you again. price was less than a third that we were quoted from a local travel agent.

Cost a bunch but you got what you paid for.
Outstanding room and service to match. If I won lotto I would stay for a month.
Exceelent condition, clean and all features working. Gym and business centre had everything you needed. Hada wonderfull breakfast each morning , did not eat inhouse. From offering our daughter a chocolate on arrival and everything staff did to assist. Easy to jump a train or secure a taxi.
Expensive yes but very comfortable and you can say you stayed in a famous hotel

A quality establishment - well furnished, generous sized room, great bathroom, superb views, good service, great location and good value. The single (minor) downside was noise from construction work (outside the building) continuing well into the night - but mysteriously not commencing until early afternoon. This was only a minor distraction as the rooms are well insulated. Can highly recommend this property.

The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Service is exceptional. The hotel provided us with an extra bed with no extra charge. We'll stay with the hotel in our next trip although it's a bit far from Orchard road.

We had a beautiful spacious room with 2 balconies on the 21st floor with a view over the colonial Raffles Hotel across the road. The bed was huge and blissfully comfortable with beautiful linen and pillows.We had breakfast on the 2nd floor ( we could also have had it around the pool but chose indoors due to the very hot weather outside ) The food was wonderful but the breakfast room was crowded and hostesses offhand. The position of the hotel is excellent with Raffles Shopping Centre directly below the hotel. Also City Hall MTR is right next to the hotel. We enjoyed shopping and eating so conveniently very much. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay in this hotel again.

Superb location, very spacious room, fantastic breakfast sitting by the pool. Do go to the restaurant or bar on the top floor of the adjacent Stamford hotel - the views are incredible. We also liked walking across the road to the actual Raffles hotel for lunch in their bakery/cafe.
Raffles the Plaza is extremely good value for money although I think the hotel name is rather clumsy!

We were offered an upgrade to the South Tower wing on check in for only another 50SGD, and this was well worth it. The rooms were very luxurious with stunning views of the Singapore War Memorial. The rooms were huge,and the bathrooms were stunnning with rainforset showers and Amari Spa toiletries. The breakfast buffet which was served either at the poolside or in the main restaurant was excellent. I felt my stay at Raffles the Plaza was all too short, wished i could have stayed longer. Excellent Hotel Highly recommended. Whilst this hotel is expensive by Singapore standards, the quality of the hotel and the attentivness of the staff make it worth shelling out for.

This was my 2nd stay in less than one year & I hope to be back again in the near future. This is a quality hotel at a reasonable price with terrific rooms, breakfast and pools. The location is convenient with large shopping complexes interconnected by air conditioned walk ways and an underground rail ("MRT") station nearby for rapid access to the main shopping drag (Orchard Road).

Great location and in nice part of Singapore - opposite Raffles Hotel, with old style colonial buildings nearby (Cathedral, Arts Museums, Empress Place, Chijmes - great restaurants). Within walking distance to Boat Quay. Direct entrance from hotel to shopping mall which is very convenient. Breakfast by pool. However, don't print documents from business centre - it is 5 times more expensive than walking across the road to cybercafes! I don't know how they can justify the difference. Otherwise no complaints and definitely recommend it. Don't miss going to the 71st floor of Westin Stamford (no cover charge for Raffles guests) and admire the great view but watch out for $$$$$ cocktails!

Initially, given a smelly, damp room ( 18th floor ! ) in the North Tower. Telephone did not work. Dump, like fungus (?) smell all around. I went down to the lobby and was then given another room on 21st floor, which was acceptable but nothing above very average. Staff though very friendly and efficient. Comment : avoid North Tower - try South Tower - much better room quality, refreshed and redecorated.

I can highly recommend the deluxe premier rooms in the south tower - they were more like a suite. Compared to European hotels excellent value for money. Great location, too, just a 10 minute walk from the river.

Very friendly staff, helpful and attentive. Only complaint was that it was difficult to find Conceierge and On-Call Valet as Desks in Reception had no names. Umbrellas readily available for the monsoon rain, and Hospitality Room available for early check-ins.

My expectations of the hotel were high, and the experience matched those expectations.
