In a good area at the top of Orchard Road. Staff very helpful, requests dealt with extraordinarily fast from replacement TV to check of lights and supplying ice. Each request received a follow up call to ensure all was in order. Great breakfast, beautiful pool area, rooms very fresh smelling and daily paper. Tanglin Mall next door with supermarket and food court. Close to Botanic Gardens and easy morning walks....

Fantastic, friendly staff really made this hotel a great place to stay - a home from home. The only downside is that rooms are quite small (albeit clean and with well-appointed bathrooms), but the hospitality and facilities - swimming pool, spa, free internet access - make up for that.

Room is a bit small, but I was happy with the other points. Convenient location, high quality amenities, well-educated staff, in-room complimentary internet service, excellent breakfast buffet and so on... Moreover, this hotel is connected to a shopping mall which has a supermarket, fast food restaurants, starbucks... Very kind for long-stay guests.

I liked the location: close to Orchard Rd, Tanglin shopping mall just next door, walking distance to botanical garden and bus stop right on the street.
Rooms are a bit small (we were 2adults and 1 child) but very clean and has everything you need. Pool is lovely, gym looked very good (but no time to use). The breakfast buffet is the best! Would recommend this hotel.

Smallish rooms, but clean and does the job. Good breakfast (have fresh juice not the watered down stuff....one way, albeit a small one of determining the class of a hotel)Very convenient central location for shopping.
Overall very satisfied...not amazing but well worth the money and you'd be hard pressed to find a better one for the value

I think the room was not large enough. There was not much room between the bed and the television cabinet. I thought that the food was very good and the serving staff very helpfull.The staff frendliness and efficiency was first class.

Except for room size that is a bit small, other facilities is good. The front office service not well prepared, no information on routine shuttle bus to center area informed or posted during check in, if not known from other source and ask concierge, hotel guest will not be aware of this ready service.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times and like the facilities and location. However with two kids, 4 and 7, they asked us to pay for a triple room and then we just got an extra cot shoved in the tiny room. We would have been better off with a mattress on the floor for one child rather than having to hop over beds to get to phone curtains etc. This was a bit expensive for what we ended up getting.The rooms are small and we ended up with wall to wall bed.

THe staff were extremely helpful, especially as the airline lost my walking aid on the outward journey. They supplied me with a wheelchair, nothing was too much trouble. I cannot fault this hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone. The swimming pool was a perfect place to relax after a busy morning of shopping, sightseeing etc. Breakfast was all that could be expected excellent choice.

We upgraded to a Club Room at this hotel and the Club room extras were well worth it - breakfast/early evening drinks etc. We felt the room was quite small and the pictures on the internet were decieving. Plenty of extras in bathroom - toothbrush/razor/sewing kit etc..
The pool area was having some work done on it that we weren't aware of, whilst it wasn't too distracting it would have been helpful to have known. The pool area is a bit 'dated'. We felt that the location of this hotel was too far from marina/water front. It is walking distance to Orchard road but the wrong end of Orchard Road for us1 Although there are many places to eat within walking distance on Orchard Rd they tend to be in shopping malls/pizza/burgers etc...so a bit limiting. It would be helpful if the hotel ran a shuttlebus to marina etc. They do run one to nearest rail station but only til early evening. We didn't realise how far this hotel was from entertainment/restaurants etc til we returned to Sinagapore a week later and stayed at other end of orchard road.

I would not stay at this hotel again - first we had booked a traders club room - which they did not have for us on arrival - tried to put us in a very small room and after 1 1/2 hours finally in room - they we very rude on arrival about the traaders room as over booked - not really my fault - the traders club room was staffed by very rude staff. I was very dissapointed with this hotel as i was really looking forward to this hotel. Lesson learnt - My husband was going to take 25 people there for a stay next year but that wont be happening.

Large size, comfortable bed (a must) and adequate seating. Lots to do in the hotel. Swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. Day room was useful for early arrivals. Friendly staff who went out of their way to be helpful. We arrived at seven in the morning and a room was made ready within half an hour. Good rooms with plenty of space and facilities. Breakfast had lots of choice to cater for all appetites. Hotel well placed and commercial centre within a few minutes walking distance (and I mean a few minutes). Would stay again without hesitation.

The room was rather small but had all of the services that one would expect from an hotel of this standard. The working area for laptops was constrained.
The shower had a disabled chair in it (I have no problem with this in principle) but this was right under the shower jet and could not be moved, so I kept stubbing my toes on the chair legs and I had to contort myself like a limbo dancer to get in the shower!
I have stayed in other rooms in the Trader's Club of this hotel before and these were excellent.
