For me & my family an excellent location. Close to Orchard Rd yet far from the din. It's a taxi/MRT or even a short walk away from Orchard road. Excellent staff, ever helpful. Hotel maintainance is good but looks dated and maybe an upgrade is due. This does not mean facilities are not maintained well....

The location of the hotel is excellent, and the room where we stayed well appointed. The breakfast was very ordinary, and the service at table left much to be desired . Often items ran out and since the counters were left unattended, many of the guests had to return , without serving themselves , a forlorn expression on their faces.
They have a bright cheery gent at the entrance to welcome the guests, dressed in a policeman's outfit from the days of the Raj, pith hat and all !

Smallish room and tiny bathroom -- not suitable for a family with infants -- rather cramped. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location in the center of town and right next to the subway. 10 minutes walk to Orchard Road

This can be a business case study, but a very bad one. We chose to stay in Sheraton Towers because our company was actually holding a 2-day workshop there. However, the rate quoted from the Hotel itself (even to a function organizer there) was way too high to consider (the cost was almost double of the rate offered by hoteltravel.com). Thus, we went for hoteltravel.com to book our room. After the booking, I confirmed twice with the live agents of hoteltravel.com and got double reassurance that my order was definitely confirmed and secured, with payment fully processed. Upon arrival, I presented the hotel voucher for check-in. Surprisingly, the lady in the front desk told us the booking couldn't be found. However, she said she could still check us in but would charge us a rate of SG440+++ (rather than USD184 all inclusive with breakfast that we confirmed with hoteltravel.com) We said it's ridiculous and we were not going to accept that. We told them that we had all black and white document as proof and the room was fully paid up already. What they need to do was to check with the travel agent to sort it out. The supervisor said they would call the agent but if there was no order found from the hotel side, they have to charge us at their rate. What a customer experience! We had no choice but called for the Duty Manager, a young man who was even cooler than his front desk colleagues. We explained to him our situation, telling him we were going to have an event the

I am sorry but the hotel service is not up to standard. The staff in the restaurant seem to be paid to look through people and see nothing. Where has the Singapore smile gone? Staff walked by without looking at you, no smiles no greetings..... I do not see myself coming back to this hotel. I usually stay at the Orchard Plaza and even though it is not a Sheraton you get much better value for your money and definately much better service.
