"The hotel has lots of character and charm. Well located in Chinatown. Easy to get to by MRT from the airport. Very friendly staff. Only problem was with the bathroom, which needed a pipe repaired. Good value for money."

"Unusually quiet area for a large Asian city and yet within walking distance to both shopping and parks. Although the room was extremely small and without outside light, it was very clean and well furnished. The best part of your hotel was the staff. They represented everything one hears about the efficiency and politeness of Singaporeans. The rest of us Asians need to learn how they do it. Overall great value."
