I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The sheets on one bed were dirty but staff were very responsive and room service was quick and friendly. Advice and information were readily provided. I can recommend this hotel....

ideally located to most shopping centres with only 10 min walk to Clarkes quay which was perfect but unfortunately there was a constant smell of must and damp in the hotel corridors and the rooms were a bit dated.

The recent run up in hotel rates in Singapore has pushed this supposedly 3 star hotel into the over-priced range. It can honestly be rated 2 stars, the furnishing and bedding is old and tatty, the room very small, the bathroom even smaller, minimal toiletries provided, the safe doesn't work and not corrected in spite of complaining 3 times. The phone has no directory, and attempting to call operator at '0' ended up in someone else's room! When it was in the $70 range it would have been value for money, but at $140 it is overpriced. The only saving grace was the relatively central location, and an efficient air-con system (thank god).
small room, old and tired furnishing and beddings. staff are competent, in a country where most things are efficient anyway. tasteless breakfast. very small lobby. when the new circular line of the MRT opens, a station will be just 1 minute away. at the moment, it would be 15 min walk to the nearest MRT, and taxis somewhat few, since the street is a cul de sac.

the location of oxford is good, but the room facility is really bad, not toothpaste, no slippers, the room is too small for one double bed, the TV is 12 inch one which even haven't been used in China,there is musty smell in this room. the price is expensive compare with its facility, strongly suggest do not recommend for visitors.

I love this hotel very very very much. The service there is great. The size, slightly smaller than grand hotels elsewhere, is pretty large as a budget hotel located in the heart of Singapore. The breakfest buffet is much better and diversified than I imagine as eggs, noodles, cakes, cookies, bread, fruit, coffee, etc are provided from 7 to 10 am.

In general it was so, so and we would have been happier if the rooms and bathrooms had been better maintained and been clean. Their house keeping should have some checks from time to time to ensure the cleanliness, it certainly was not Singapore standard, that's for sure.

Took me 15min walk to MRT, receptionist is totally NOT friendly and not helpful at all. Housekeeping is bad. Car park is not available for guess. All and all, this hotel is overpriced with respect of its services and facilities.

I have bad experience on the third days of my stay at this hotel. I found my Digital Alarm clock was missing when I returned from my office in the afternoon. I reported to the Front Desk staff concerning my missing item but they could not found a reasonable answer.

The hotel is not in a walking distance to any MRT, unless you are willing to walk abt 15 min. There is no Internet connection in the room The room is small, only big enough for the bed and some space to place your luggage

Everything was nice except for the breakfast they serve. They only served one dish per day like sausage or spam and one type of bread. They lack variety and quality. In addition, the coffee was like water because it was so diluted. The utensils also were not enough so that we always ran out of forks!
On the other hand, the room was clean, hotel surroundings were well maintained and hotel staff were courteous and location was perfect.

The room didn't have a window! I really think there should be some warning about that. I've stayed in some pretty low-budget places all over the world, but I've never had to stay in a window-less room. I think most people would be surprised that a room at that price would lack a window. I survived, but I wouldn't want to do it again.

A quiet hotel in a busy place. The staff were most courteous and helpful. It was in walking distance of most places. I would stay there again when visiting Singapore.
