We loved this hotel, particularly for its location at Clarke Quay overlooking the river with ferry boats cruising by. Just a short stroll and we were in the midst of all the retaruants, shopping and entertainment we could need. The famous Orchard St was a short taxi ride away. The rooms were lovely and well furnished although the bed was a bit hard!! Staff were professional, welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast at this hotel was by far the best we have experienced in our travels around the world.

Excellent location - the only complaint was with the cleaning our our room, toilet paper & tissues wern't replaced and other days clean towells wern't left and another day a bath mat wasn't replaced.

Really nice and clean room, perfect location, very good breakfast..the only problem the noise level at night from Clarke Quai. On Friday and Thursday night there was loud music till 5 AM..when complained to the staff, we were just given ear plugs.

Fabulous views of the river and Clarke Quay.Everything about the hotel lived up to expectations. One of our best holidays ever. We are in our 70,s and have travelled extensively. Hope to return.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone travelling to Singapore, pleasure or business. A very nice hotel and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay theere again if ever in the area. Room service was excellent. Spa services were great. All around great hotel!

The hotel was one of the better ones that I've stayed in Singapore and I have been to Singapore for many times. Unfortunately, the airconditioning was very poor. Despite repairs and cleaning done to our room aircon I was still sweating at night. I would wake up all wet with sweat. I guess the system itself was defective or the hotel deemed it unnecessary to operate the aircon at a lower cooler temperature. The rooms were good although accessibility to an subway station was quite a walk. If not for the 4 nights of poor cooling I would rate the hotel as great. The hotel in Malaysia that I stayed in had a beautiful airconditioning system. That would have been great if Novotel had the same airconditioning system.

We didn't stay on the premises long as we were only in Singapore for approx 30 hours but would definately stay there again on our next visit.

Construction work provided some unwanted noise during the day but otherwise no issues at all with the hotel.

I like the location and the chinese restaurant outlet best. The cityscape view was also good. I don't particularly like the reception counter location and design much.
