The hotel was very clean, secure and despite the airport was really close , surprisingly quiet . We travelled with our 11 month old son and we worried about the noise level previously . Staff was very flexible about extend our staying until 6 pm due to our fly out 9.45pm. Popular shopping areas about 25 minutes from Village Hotel but free shuttle service to the city and to the airport all add its value . Good price to stay.

The Changi Village was the perfect hotel for location as it was close to the airport and the facilities were just what we wanted. Absolutely the BEST pool I have experienced in any hotel. The days spent there were the answer for both my sister and self.

1) You heard every sound in the next room which was very annoying. 2) Maintenance (hammering) was going on all night which made it difficult to sleep

We had stayed at this hotel near 20 years ago and liked the location then as we do now. The room we had on our 1st stay on the 6th March was disappointing as it had a strong smoking smell about it, which the staff tried to fix with a room freshner. The 2nd stay 20-21st was better, room A1, staff very friendly and breakfast excellent. Easy to commute to CBD via double decker bus & train from interchange. If back to Singapore will stay there again for sure. John & Judi Lamprell.

I requested non-smoking room, but the room I stayed had smell of smoking. The receiptionist and telephone operator were not friendly at all. I will not stay this hotel again. Never again.

Really enjoyed sunrise swim in roof top infinity swimming pool. Beautiful. Room spacious and clean and breakfast was excellent. location was further away from city centre and airport than we had thought!

A modern hotel, light and airy. Included breakfast was excellent. However, restaurant and bar not accessible to wheelchair users. Bar prices very high - a beer at a bar 5 minutes walk was one third the price. Easy walking to lots of food outlets and bars and shops. Taxi into Singapore easy or use MRT and buses; more colourful and a better chance to view the scenery, but not as quick. Felt completely safe walking around the area. Charges for casual use of wireless internet were high - minimum period 1 hour even for 5 minutes use.

Free shuttle took 15 minutes to hotel. Leaves ternimal 2 on 20 minutes to the hour. Room was small but very nice, modern and clean. I think they must have recently refurbished them. We had a 7th floor room with a beautiful view out to the sea. They wanted S$40 extra for a balcony but for a one night stopover didn"t bother. Other rooms face into the internal atrium. There are many cheap eating places as well as a local foodcourt within 3 minutes walk from hotel. Breakfast was good with a cook to do the eggs as you want them. Free shuttle runs on the hour to terminals 1 & 2 with a free shuttle to ternimal 3. Good hassle free stop over on the way home.

I did not like the adjoining room door--I could hear everything my neighbors were doing and saying at 0230 in the morning. I could not go back to sleep. very bad expereince.
