The location of the hotel is just a little off the Singapore river and the night life area of Clarkes Quay.It is a fair distance from the Outram Park Metro and the Clarkes Quay metro.The area however is extremely well maintained, secure and the hotel does provide complimentary pick and drop facitlites to the central areas of the city.The lobby is fantastic, reception and concerige is very helpful and the restaurant is excellent.
Overall, a very good bargain.

Hotel was generally fine, We spent our weekend holidays with my wife. It was a bit better than hotel around however more expensive. I was lucky to have 23rd floor room and good view on the city. However You should know as below:
#1. Phone in the room had problem
#2. Internet was charged very high - dozen USD per day! There is no free of charge of interenet what makes me pissed off due to so cheap procing of net in SINGAPORE! When I pay over 100 USD per night I need to pay extra for net...Thailand, Vietnam, China - there is mostly nothing like that!
#.3. swimming pool is really small and a bit crowdy in the daytime! I enjoyed gym by the way!
#4. breakfast is good for 3 stars hotel, not 4 stars. There was not diary and meat (cold cut) selection on breakfast! I was slightly disappointed with that!
#5. In generally hotel is fine and ok - however worth to pay 70-80 USD/night!
#6. There is small TV in room / no LCD! That was shock for me. In VIetnam most of 2 and all other hotels have 32-40" LCD in the room (no dicussion about!)

The hotel is centrally located and is convenient for both business and vacation jaunts. The ambience is good and so is the service. The staff are friendly and ready to help. However, we found the room to be little small to accomodate the extra bed. The MRT station is also not easily accessible from the hotel. This might make it a little inconvenient for some travellers.

Excellent breakfast with good choices for all tastes.Good views from all windows due to circular design. Air conditioning excellent - controls by bed! Swimming pool good size -large enough to have a good swim- and outside, with nice sitting area and loungers.Bedroom large and spotlessly clean-very powerful shower.Altogether everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Staff exceptionally obliging--dealing with luggage, late check in and late check out. Will post cards for you.Would recommend to anyone.

First opinion about the Holiday Inn Atrium Hotel was provided by a taxi driver who drove us to the hotel: "It is the best hotel in this area!" Outside view is very attractive but inside is just amazing (especially at evening time when all lights are on).
What can I say,
1. Good Hotel Position - now adjacent buildings, good view from a window at any room.
2. Good Hotel design - the hollow inside part with 6 fully illuminated elevators
3. Very good breakfast manu with variety of meet, salads, tropical fruits, good strong coffee and different teas. Even for Vegetarian many soy dishes.
4. Not too large rooms, very quiet, clean and accurate bathroom, good cosmetics. Internet access in apartments, wide bed, big windows, fridge, teapot, iron and hairdrier, adjustable air conditioner.
The most pleasant thing - complementary fresh water and range of tea and instant coffee daily.
5. In a lobby you can find a restaurant (drinks rather expensive), Business Centre, taxi is always waiting, also Tourist travel agency with good Singapore and Malaysia daily tours.
Also there is a FREE BUS comes almost every 20 min to lift you up to the next Subway station.
Thanks to HotelTravel.com I had received price 120 USD per night (standard tax is 195 USD) and I thick it worth it.
The position of Hotel is away from overcrowded centre but passing by main roads allows you to get to the centre within few minutes.
10 min by walking to Chinatown, 15 min to Orchard Road, 15 min by taxi to Sentos

Nobody there to assist with luggage to reception and nobody to assist with luggage to room. It is not a problem for me, but could be for someone else. Only public transport was a bus-stop a few minutes walk from the lobby, but taxis were very cheap and usually was one waiting at the hotel. Reception staff were very friendly. Our room was clean and spacious. Pool was nice and they give people with late flights use of their shower room by the pool until 11pm even though you have already checked out. Buffet breakfast was very good too.

The service I received at this hotel was poor and way below expectation for a 4 star hotel. The staff could use lessons in basic manners and courtesy, especially in the Melting Pot Cafe. The noise levels travel up from the 'lobby lounge' into the room and upon asking was told that they could not do anything. It was really below standard.

The hotel was impressive because of its shape and the open space in the center. The comfort of the room was allright. My children however had a room in which smoking was permitted. That was not so pleasant because they don't like smoking themselves. I suggest that the rooms could be separately admitted to smokers and non-smokers.
