Goodwood Park Hotel

"Goodwood Park Hotel lived up to our expectations - and more! We found all staff to be courteous and helpful. The buffet brealfast was superb as was the buffet dinner, which was extremely good value for money. MAny years ago, I worked in Singapore and only went to the Goodwood for dinners, never as a resident guest. Although the layout has changed considerably since my wife and I left, it is still has that special as the hotel on the hill - and very close to all the amenities offered by and on a busy Orchard Road. The mix of old with new has been superbly masterminded well so that you are never aware of the transition. I can only repeat something I read. "The most difficult job is not building a new hotel but restoring an old one. The Goodwood Park Hotel stands testimony to this belief. Here, enterprisem infinite good taste and excellent Management has transformed this ancient hotel - circa 1900 - into a hotel of dazzling excellence". A stay there, however brief, is well worth the experience."

"As we were in Singapore partly to do some family history research it was nice to be able to stay in a hotel with links to the Colonial past - albeit not our own! From checking in early to checking out late we had nothing but the best of service throughout our stay. We would be more than happy to stay at the Goodwood Park again and to recommend it to others."
