The hotel was clearly overpriced. The room was too small for this price, the location of the room was terrible, between two seminar rooms, I had to go actually through a seminar room to get into my room. I never saw something like this. The reception area and also room access appeard to me cheap, resp. as it was not finished. I trust that the purpose was to look modern. On a 3 day stop over we stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the experience. It was very handy for the main area of Clarke Quay and the shops. We enjoyed the wallk along the river which felt very safe. The tours along the quay were also good value and worth using to move around and see the city. David Bellenie, United Kingdom

The pool was amazing, very unique. The room was run down, blinds broken and the aircon was broken. Overall i feel the hotel was extremely overpriced for what one got. Next time i will stay at the fullerton. Stephen Baxter, United States
A trendy hotel in the middle of a trendy nightclub district Laura Green, Ireland
The Gallery Hotel was perfect, the staff were so helpful and the rooms were clean and spacious with a great view of the city. It is in a great location with so much of Singapore within walking distance. The nightlife is incredible, there is no shortage of bars and clubs in and around the hotel. The Gallery was a wonderful experience and I personally would stay there on every visit to Singapore. Geoff Thomas, Australia
Booked on line, but reception didn't have us registered but offered a smoking room (unacceptable) on arrival. After 40 minutes wait in the smoking room , we were offered a twin non smoking room, acceptable. We were unaware of the isolation from the city of this hotel, but this was our problem as we didn't check out the location, & should have known better as we have been to Singapore on numerous occassions. The pool area had no shaded areas and wasn't used by us. We were however offered alater check out, due to late departure of our plane.
I wish I could find a site similar to this one to comment on British Airways. First class Singapore to Heathrow was an absolute discrace and cabin staff were 10 times better on an ecomony BA flight from Paris to Heathrow. Olivia Choong, Singapore
I liked the service most of all, followed by the concept. The space, however was a bit tight, but it wasn't a problem. Although it isn't located that near a bus-stop or MRT, it was convenient to catch a taxi at anytime of the day. The staff are friendly and obliging, I would definitely consider staying here again! |
