The pool overlooking the river in the heart of Singapore, was always a calm, inviting place to relax at the end of the day. I still have the Fullerton postcard up on my mantlepiece back home." Darryl Burns, United States "This is our fifth time to Singapore and the first time we have stayed at the FULLERTON. My wife and I travel a lot and always stay at 5-star hotels. There is no question that this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. It is close to the MRT (less than 2 blocks) and in walking district of Chinatown, the Marina and the historic district. There are lots of restaurants within a couple of blocks.
The room was small but well decorated. We had a balcony which overlooked the Quay, the Marina District and had a great view of the Merlion.
The staff is great. On two occasions we needed to call for assistance (a light bulb out and a problem with our electric converter) on both occasions they were at the room within 3-5 minutes. The last day we had an early flight therefore we couldn't take advantage of the breakfast buffet (which is also top notch) they let us have room service at 4:30AM at no charge.
