This is our fifth time to Singapore and the first time we have stayed at the FULLERTON. My wife and I travel a lot and always stay at 5-star hotels. There is no question that this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. It is close to the MRT (less than 2 blocks) and in walking district of Chinatown, the Marina and the historic district. There are lots of restaurants within a couple of blocks.
The room was small but well decorated. We had a balcony which overlooked the Quay, the Marina District and had a great view of the Merlion.

The Fullerton is a unique hotel for Singapore, with old fashioned standards of service and decor. Equally at home for business or leisure users

Our stay at the Fullerton hotel was memorable. The service standard is excellent and this is their strength. The property is probably the best one in Singapore with beautiful architecture and unbeatable location. I look forward to visiting again.

I would highly recommended this hotel as a 5 star hotel. The service, location and breakfast are really great!!! This is my first time to stay at the Fullerton Hotel with my family. I got a free complimentary an extra bed for my children. Big room also. I would like to stay at this hotel again for the next holiday. Thank you Fullerton!

A fantastic location in the Marina area, close to many points of interest and bars/food outlets. Wonderfully helpful staff and room amenities in a spectacularly restored building. I would definitely stay at the Fullerton Hotel if I visited Singapore again.

In the view of someone who ordinarily hates hotels, the Fullerton is one of the great and gracious hotels of the world. Everything from the amenities to the concierge service goes well beyond usual expectations, and the hotel did everything it possibly could to accommodate us for our stay. (Even more after we had stayed once.)

Very highly recommended. Excellent hotel. The staff is extremely cheerful and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and the baths are very well done. The level of service is first rate. We had a beautiful view out our window overlooking the Merlion and the water. The hotel is slightly out of the way for shopping and restaurants but taxis are cheap and the subway is relatively close. Almost forgot an outstanding breakfast buffet with a nice view across the river.

First room had a ramp which could have been dangerous, if not deadly, at night. Requested room on high floor with view. Got room on 2 with view of hotel lobby. Paid for upgrade to smaller room with view. Couldn't get seat for one in restaurant. Ate in lobby. Portions were minuscule. Small, tiny, beer was $14 SD. Certainly not "the best hotel in Asia."

The staff is great. On two occasions we needed to call for assistance (a light bulb out and a problem with our electric converter) on both occasions they were at the room within 3-5 minutes. The last day we had an early flight therefore we couldn’t take advantage of the breakfast buffet (which is also top notch) they let us have room service at 4:30AM at no charge.
When we travel to Singapore next year we will definitely stay at the Fullerton. We stayed only one week this time but plan to stay for two weeks next year.

Excellent for business travelers in finance who want to be near the financial district. Sumptous all around, lots of art deco style and a killer bar (Post bar) to start the evening and end at. Since the building was not built as a hotel the rooms can be sometimes oddly shaped but excellent nevertheless. Breakfast by the river is another attraction though smoking is allowed at the venue which is part of the cafe.

Given a room smelling strongly of smoke on initial arrival, quickly rectified otherwise everything else excellent. Tipping expected by Doorman, very un-Singaporean, misinformed by same regarding rates in limosines. Reception and other staff excellent and very helpful/friendly.

Stayed in outstide room this time which was well worth the upgrade. The pool area is gorgeous. Only part of the hotel that isn't absolutely top of the range is the gym which is quite small.

THE HOTEL is located in a great location and have all amenities of a 5 star Hotel. The rooms are big, however the furnishing is not on the latest standard. The breakfast is great, especially if you sit on the balcony, but the other restaurants and especially the room service is lacking in taste. Overall a nice stay, but we expected a bit more from a Hotel of this reputation.

What set our stay at The Fullerton apart from that of a stay at any other high-class hotel in the region was the excellent attitude and personal touch added by the staff. The facilities were as you would expect from such a hotel.

Staying at the Fullerton Hotel Singapore was a once in a lifetime experience. The exterior of the building was. The pool overlooking the river in the heart of Singapore, was always a calm, inviting place to relax at the end of the day. I still have the Fullerton postcard up on my mantlepiece back home.
