John Lawry, Australia "Spend 5 nights at the Berjaya and must say it was a pleasure. Booked a deluxe room which was excellent, clean, big and well furnished. The service staff were always friendly and attentive. The breakfast which was included was delicious and prepared when ordered. Try to find a package where the breakfast is included otherwise it will cost $25 for ABF. Will return. The area is convienent, close to maxwell street food area (great food and cheap) close to underground rail, close to china town and club area. Really pleased with our stay at the Berjaya." The building is a converted shophouse and the rooms are tastefully furnished in a colonial style. It's in a good location with plenty of bars and restaurants on Duxton Road, but my room was very quiet despite looking out onto the street. Chinatown and trendy Club Street are close by. Staff were friendly and helpful and recognised me on my return visit on the way back to the UK from Australia.
