We did not know what to expect as we had never stayed at this hotel. However we were pleasantly surprised that for the amount of money paid, we received a very good service. Staff were polite, room was clean and airy and we were not too high up. Very central to bus and train and shopping facilities. We would definitely stay here again. Good value for money and in a good location....

This hotel has a very friendly staff like Nalini, Roopum etc. It's close to train station, shopping centre and restaurants. The breakfast services are acceptable though not the best. The main disadvantage is the cleanliness. The rooms are smelly and in run down condition. The bathroom I stayed had no shower curtain causing splattering of water all over and the ceiling was leaking on opening the tap. Needs renovation. If these are addressed this probably is one of the best for the cost one pays.

The staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Really bad attitude. They make you feel as if you are staying there because of their generosity. Really terrible place to stay.

Hotel Service is very poor, no proper maintennance, Room with Bed Bugs, Room is very untidy, Breakfast is not properly organized, during my first morning i and my family went down to restaurant to take some meals, but no food available. Receptionist faces are sour and they are not attending to my resquest, example when i ask them to replace the kettle they told me that i have to got to 8th floor to take it by myself. Towels are very dirty, my family dare not to use them, as they may be infected with Bed Bugs. what worried me too much is the safety of my 19 months old baby. My experience with the hotel is very traumatic? I travelled to singapore so many times and this the first time i encounter such unpleasant stay in singapore. Anyway i have made my complain to Singapore Tourism Board and i got feed back that they are taking action on my complain. Regards Domingo Campos Camacho

A horror!!! I arrived on wed June 20th. Upon arrival they told me that the A/C in the rooms are broken. They told me to go to another hotel "Ambassador hotel" (same owner) 2 blocks away. At first they told me to walk there. I told them that I have many lugages and it is impossible. They then provided me with the transportation. The room and the hotel is of the cheapest kind...a covertion of the top floors of 2 shop houses. I did not pay for this but it is late, so I have no choice...no lift, just stairs, nothing work...the A/C bearly. The next day, I have to pack and move back. I have to carry my luggages up to my room...no service...but they do have a lift. I walked down to the basement for the inclusive breakfast...more horror...boil eggs, toast, and a disk of vegeterian indian dish ..this was serve very morning. The ceiling in the bath room leak and have fungus growing. I don't think that they pay their staff well...so no complain on the staffs. 90% plus of the guess are Indian. my suggest would be a big No for this hotel.

Room had a strong oder to it. Hotel clerk upon check out charged us a extra $30.00 and said it was for a extra fee for holiday season even though we paid a surcharge already via credit card. We checked out at 4am and he did not provide a reciept. We agured these charges. Later called a manager and found out we were scammed and the hotel has yet to contact us about the employee on duty at that time or addressed our complaint. We will never stay there again and will make sure none of our friends do.

I have been travelling in this region since late '70's and this is the worse ever. At 3/4 the price of Traders it is a joke, one sheet on the bed, a/c which did not work, electrical sockets hanging from the wall and no shower curtain, what next. I tried to call to complain and was refered to some number other than Singapore.
