The hotel was good value for money, facilities were clean and comfortable and staff were very friendly. They even provided me with shower facilities later in the afternoon after I had checked out earlier that morning without any extra cost. My disaapointment was that there was a strong cigarette smell present even on the non smoking floors and I had to swtich off the air condition to keep the smell out. Lucky they have ceiling fans so I did not need the aircon. For a non smoker this may be a bit of an inconvenience.Overall rating was good. Hans Odsen, United States

The hotel was very clean, the decor pleasing and the facilities well maintained. In our experience the staff were pleasant and efficient. Buffet breakfast was delicious, but as with most hotels, the bar prices were prohibitive. Convenient walking distance to Little India and Bugis Street. Would definitely stay again. We enjoyed out stay at Albert Court. We were allowed to have a late check out which was most convenient, as our flight out was late night- we really appreciated this allowance. The water pressure in the bathroom was rather inadequate- this was the only inconvenience. The staff were friendly and the location was perfect, for our needs. Charlotte Browne, Australia

The Courtyard rooms are dark with no privacy as the one window opens to the passageway which means you cannot open the curtain. Rather depressing. But room itself is excellent. Nicolas Piccato, France

Overall a good place to be. Chosen for its proximity to Little India. Will stay here again if the need arises. Only snag is the very limited space at breakfast - it is definitely not comfortable. Can walk to the subway or call a taxi. I usually stay at a 4-star hotel on Orchard Parade and pay 10 SGD more. If you want to be close to Little India or have cheaper(and tastier) meals close to your hotel. |
