The Caledonian Hotel overlooks Ullapool harbour and the fishing boats on Loch Broom. Ullapool is the port for the Outer Hebrides and therefore good roads allow easy access to this spectacular Highland location. There are many beautiful walks in the area, both along the coast and inland. Places of interest along the way include: the cave at Cove, the wreck of the USS William H Welsh, the cave at Sand, Beast Loch and Fionn Loch.
