The Duisdale House Hotel is a former hunting lodge built in 1857 for the head of the McDonald Clan located in the southwest of the isle in an area called Sleat and known as ‘the garden of Skye’ offering magnificent views across open waters to grand hills and mountains and the wild landscape of the ‘misty isle’. This hotel is set in 25 acres of ground including gardens abundant with mature shrubs, plants and ancient woodlands.
