Rooms were not overly roomy but quite comfortable. Decore was clean and modern looking. Staff was helpful and very pleasant. Shopping and interesting downtown sites are all within walking distance. Food was very good and attractively presented. Menu was somewhat limited and restaurant decore lacked interest. Located in what appeared to be a safe part of city. Public parking was easily available, but expensive. We would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to friends. Carol Day...

This was my third stay at the Park Inn, Glasgow and I was a little disappointed as previous stays had been better experiences (the main reason for my return). On arrival, the allocated room smelled of cigarette smoke but reception staff were quick and helpful in finding an alternative. I felt this room to be a bit more down-at-heel than previous ones - the shower had stained tiles; a pair of gents' shoes were in one of the drawers; I couldn't open the windows as there was a smelly chimney stack outside; there were minimal toileteries in the bathroom and no additional shoe shine/sewing kit etc. I also waited quite a while for a poached egg in the morning and felt that the buffet cooked breakfast was more tepid than I would have liked. These are all small annoyances and the saving grace of the hotel is really the excellent customer service. However, when you spend a lot of time away from the comforts of home, these small issues assume an importance that they would not otherwise have, and I'm sorry to say that the Park Inn has now slipped from its slot of my 'must have Glasgow accommodation'

The standard of the room was very good. Everything was avaiilable. Location was perfect, few minutes walking from the centre and railway station. I would certainly return to this hotel the next time...
