Really nice big room and bed with fanatstic views over Princes St and the castle from the huge bay window. No iron or mini bar as promised though and the bathroom was pretty basic. Staff friendly and helpful. Could do with some closer parking so dont have to lug heavy bags up the main St! Cant comment on the food as ate out but the bar stayed open until we left at about 2am and breakfast in the room was nice....

An excellent location close to pubs and bars with good atmosphere. The rooms were small but clean. Some noise from the nearby bars, but not more than you must expect in a city-heart. The staff at the reception and in the bar were vere frindly, but some of the staff at the breakfast restaurant should find something else to do! Overall a very good hotel that we for sure will book again!

What was seen on the internet and what the hotel was like in reality were totally different - the hotel was not in keeping with the standards expected of a Princes Street, Edinburgh hotel. I will not use this hotel again.
