For an hotel of this class a few details are missing. Tea and coffee, although complementary, had to be ordered on each occasion as there were just 2 tea bags, coffee sachets, etc. Spa treatments were expensive and not particularly outstanding, some staff not prepared to put themselves out. However, room standard was very good and the check in and welcome was outstanding. Overall very enjoyable stay and pleasant room. Right on Princes Street in the heart of Edinburgh. Room was a reasonable size for a city centre hotel and had all of the facilites you would expect, except tea and coffee making which had to be ordered in. Excellent bathroom with a very large bath and good shower.
Spa treatment was OK but expensive and nothing special. Warm welcome and personal service, but we arrived at a quiet time. Good service in restaurants.
