The staff at the reception was not courteous and the first reply was always no or I don't know. At the time of check in, there was no reservation for me for that date, one later though. The reception was often unoccupied for a long time and sometimes the receptionist lady was sitting at the customer chairs and smoking.
At the breakfast at 09:30 there was no coffee nor croissants. I had to request for them. The third morning there were no croissants at all, even after requesting for them. There was a lack of plates, clean coffee cups at the table and the personnel was not there very often. One morning, after a long wait, I had to go and ask for the waitress to come in to help me and others. She was smoking when I reached her from the kitchen.
There was no restaurant other than for the breakfast. When I had a desire for a snack at 23:00 they told me that I have to take a taxi to go and get it. Hence, the location, still being very central and within walking distance from everywhere, was not good for dining. Also, the street where the hotel is located was otherwise very shabby and a garbage dump that became very big daily was just outside the entrance, behind a fence, though. The barman was the best when arranging drinks but even he was not in the bar when I went there, before my appearance, actually every eveningn, the whole personnel was talking and smoking there.
