We had an awesome vacation at the Gran Melia hotel/resort. The establishment is very well maintained and really feels like luxury -- marble floors, open air hotel lobby, fountains and pools. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and were genuinely helpful. Bed was not great. Everything else was very nice.
Casino is small and there was not too much to do at night. Pool are huge and very nicely maintained.A little outside of the major cities, but directions to San Juan and other major cites are easy. Rental cars are available at the front desk. The shuttles for the resort were plen...

We had an awesome vacation at the Gran Melia hotel/resort. The establishment is very well maintained and really feels like luxury -- marble floors, open air hotel lobby, fountains and pools. The bed that we had was very uncomfortable. We woke up with sore lower backs everyday. The sheets were not smooth feeling and felt dirty because of it. Food could be a little pricey, but overall not too bad.
I would go to the Gran Melia resort again. Next time, I'll bring my clubs because the course looks amazing.
