PHUKET, 7 July, 2011 - HotelTravel.com’s Formula 1 event guide hopes Lewis Hamilton can repeat his 2008 British Grand Prix victory at the Silverstone Circuit. Hamilton needs a good qualifying session and starting position to have any hope of leaving his competition in the dust.
For many the British Grand Prix at Silverstone has always been the highlight of any Formula 1 season, with this year's race having an added sense of urgency. Another dominate performance by Red Bull Racing's Sebastian Vettel could drive die hard F1 fans to drink.
Even if Formula 1 followers find the current 2011 season boring thus far, the same certainly can't be said for staying in London. The city remains one of the best places in the world for a night out on the town. Visitors will find HotelTravel.com's original feature story, 'Pubs Crawls in London' an entertaining read as everyone knows watching motor sport is thirsty work. Not to mention that Londoners love to enjoy a civil pint (or three) just before the race gets started.   HotelTravel.com Chief Marketing Officer, Tom Racette, said: "The only satisfactory result for this year's British Grand Prix is to have one of McLaren's English drivers, hopefully Lewis Hamilton, take the chequered flag. Then an ideal result would see his teammate Mr Button also finish in the top three. If not Formula 1 fans might as well just race back to London and find the first available pub."   Ticket holders looking for hotels to crash at after a night out should look over HotelTravel.com's London hotel promotion page. It offers huge savings on HotelTravel.com's already low rates with London hotel deals starting from only EUR 22 per night.   For a preview on the British Grand Prix, F1 fans in the know go directly to the HotelTravel.com Formula 1 event guide.
