When we arrived at the hotel the room we were allocated was very small with no balcony. There was no way we could have fit a cot in as requested, so we ended up paying 210 euro to upgrade to a junior suite which was great. My advice is not to book a standard room. The reception staff were not very helpful but the cleaning staff were excellent.

Good base for Golf Trip. Excellent, Friendy and helpful man at the golf desk. Nice Spa - availed of the full body massage good value at 50euro. Breakfast only average. Some confusion at reception regarding refund on rained off golf day - Should have been handled better!

The Hotel was situated right beside the beach and had excellent facilities for young children. There was a kiddies club as well as adult activities daily. Entertainment was also very good with something happening every night. During our stay they also had theme nights in the restaurant which added a good variety of food choice. Overall it was a good choice of hotel with an exceptional SPA facility that I felt was not properly advertised. Staff were extremely friendly and helpfull. Rooms were made up daily and frankly nothing was a problem for any staff member. Facilities and cleanliness were very good albeit that the room decor was a little dated, however there was a sea view and our room had a small kitchenette with fridge and utensils. This was unexpected an proved very useful for the children. Location: beach side as well as being next to the Marina where all the shops and restaurants are located. Overall good value for money for a 4 star hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Villamoura.
