Excellent city center position,very grand interior on ground fioor,bedrooms a little bit on the small side ok for a short stay though(3 to 4 nights) rooms clean, breakfast very nice. Price of drinks in hotel bar expensive and bar not staffed full time ,had to wait 10 mins to be served.Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel for a short stay.rooms were clean and ok for a short stay.Bit on the small side. Nice lounge areas to relax and read newspapers.Did not find any other facilitys. Front desk staff helpfull, breakfast staff kept room tidy. nice selection at breakfast. not expensive for...

Double beds only available in suites. All other rooms have single beds only. Rooms on the upper levels (above ground) are small. Rooms on the lower level (-1 regarded as below ground, are actually above ground but below reception street level - hotel located on a slope) are bigger and most offer a 3rd bed. Bathroom amenities are good. The safe did not work - did not even have a locking mechanism! English spoken by reception staff only. No english spoken by the dining staff. Rather take a taxi or shuttle transfer from the airport to the hotel as driving yourself to the hotel can become very complicated due to the one-ways and pedestrian roads in the area. Would stay there again.
No double beds available in standard rooms. Rooms small on upper levels. Lower level rooms are much larger. Enlgish not spoken by dining room staff which can pose a problem for those not able to speak Portuguese.
Hot buffet only offered scrambled eggs and sausages. The cold buffet offered a variety of rolls, cold meats and cheese, yoghurts and cereals. High Tea is offered in the bar/lounge area for about €4 or €5 per person. Not advertised so was unable to plan day to return in time. Beautiful reading / lounge area. Bar area could be a little more welcoming. Within walking distance ofshops, restaurants and waterfront.

The room that we got it was very small even to put our luggage.... The location and the breakfast are good. The room is very small....... Hotel is localet in the centre. Breakfast good.
