Maybe not a full blown 4 stars hotel in other countries standard but good quality one. Room was OK maybe a bit noise (acoustic isolation could be improved). Breakfast is mid-high quality and the restaurant offers a buffet dinner as well (€ 19 euros all you can eat exclusive of beverages). Its position on Avenida Marginal (basically the coast-side road that goes from/to Lisbon) grants both easy access at the beach (here’s a tunnel) as well as onto the A5 (the quicker highway to Lisbon alternative to the “Marginal”). The hotel is right next to the Estoril Casino (20 kms from Lisbon approx) but watch it ….parking is a luxury. You can ask the reception to use the hotel parking (for a fee of course) or park right near the garden in front of the Casino (€0.75 per hour). If you do not mind walking, no payment parking option are further away up on the street (away from the coast) but in summer time I suspect that would be taking chances. There’s some kind of train station right across the street from the Hotel, which I suspect will connect you to Lisbon / Oeiras / Cascais and so forth. All in all value for money adequate provided that breakfast is included. Funny note….there’s a safe in the room but if you want to use it you gotta ask the key to the reception for a €2.5 per day.
