Located in the heart of the Algarve region on the southern coast of Portugal, Albufeira is a beautiful city with amazing beaches and spectacular cliffs coupled with an abundance of interesting history, modern attractions and a wide choice of restaurants. The popular seaside town attracts tourists all year round with summertime the busiest, seeing thousands of local and international holidaymakers enjoying the beaches.
This well established Paintball Park is one of the country's best, with huge grounds and fantastic natural surrounds to hide in. Private group days are available or you can join with other players on the day. You can be assured to have an exciting fun-filled day.
Positioned only a short drive from Albufeira's town centre is the beautiful grounds of Guia Parish. The Parish has survived since Roman times and has some impressive structures still standing including chapel's 'Our Lady of Guia' and St Luis. In recent years, Guia has become renowned for its annual charcoal chicken festival, which involves festivities and food for locals and visitors.
Arriving in Albufeira by other means of transport is possible, with good connections by road, rail and sea. Trains leave the Portuguese capital of Lisbon several times per day and also numerous services come from Faro and Oporto. Buses frequently arrive from most main cities in Portugal and are relatively inexpensive.
For citizens from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand no visa is needed for holiday purposes up to 90 days long. For travellers from other countries or those wishing to stay longer, an appropriate visa which can be obtained from any Portuguese embassy or consulate around the world is required. Each visitor to Portugal should be able to produce onward travel arrangements and proof of sufficient funds to support their holiday.
