Poznan Hotels
One of Poland’s oldest—and prettiest—cities, Poznan sports the visit-worthy Royal Castle, Town Hall, Church of Our Lady and Imperial Castle. Situated in the western-central part of the country, as with much of the rest of the country which lacks natural boundaries, Pozan has been unhappily set in the path of invading armies from time immemorial. Poznan Introduction
Never mind that this is Poland’s biggest industrial centre – Poznan’s Old Square will put you at the heart of a classical European town. But many of the area’s highlights lie outside the town. At the Dziewicza Góra hill the fit can climb a 40-metre-tall observation tower. From the top there’s a view of the beautiful city and the lush Zielonka forest. Culture fans should take the Royal-Imperial Trail in the City of Poznan, to see the city’s millennium-old history come to life. The Ethnographic Park in Dziekanowice is a treat in warmer months.
