The only down point was the man that took my payment for a shave as a tip and I was billed later. But most of the staff was pleasant and Evelyn that serviced our hut was the greatest. She and her family truly gave the place a welcome at home feel. We will return and this is a place one can truely unwind from the rat race. By the way we got engaged in hut 37. One needs to be prepared for room mates of a gieko, lizard, frog and birds. Plus beautiful sunsets with privacy. ...

The place is great for the family trip with kids. The big advantage ( or disadvantage ..) is that the place is completely separated from rest of the world :) You can go in/out only by private boat. It gives you some sense of being alone - connected to the nature . If you like it - it is for you. Every morning we went to different beaches for swimming and snorkeling. The place is unique - you don't need to dive to be able colorful corals and fish. The minus is that you tied to Hotel restraunts and services. The prices there are much higher than outside - however , in average it is not too bad. For 5 people we paid about 2000 PHP for lunch or dinner ( 3 adults and 2 kids). I don't recommend to use the Heritage rooms , even it is only option to have air-conditioning. The suits are very unique - if you can afford going up/down - higher rows of the buildings have good natural air-conditioning ( just use normal fan). The pool is great and clean. If you take private boat you can go to near located resorts for nightlife.

beautiful location. only concern was that the bungalows have fans, not a/c. can get very hot at night as a mosquito net is essential{provided by coco beach}. there were upgrades occurring during our stay. much nicer than the towns of sabang and peurto galera. loads of rock spiders in those towns!

Although Coco beach advertizes as not being a five star hotel with trained personal, the people are very helpful and friendly and did their job with devotion and care in a perfect way. Although basic, cleanliness is good! Accomodation is basic but designed with care and atmosphere is great. Restuarant serves excellent food and drinks for good prices. The concept of the service family is great and they really care about your well being. There are many options for entertainment while there. All in all: Coco Beach comes highly recommended by me for a family holiday! My wife, 16 month old daughter and myself had a perfect stay and will definately return when the possibility occurs. Don't expect a hotel room, there is no television/aircon. But since this is clearly indicated the accomodation is stylish and original. Besides the service family will do anything to help add comfort to you. There are plent of possibilities to complement your stay, which they can arrange at the concierge. The small shops give you oppportunity to buy small trinkets. The restauarant serves good food for very reasonable prices. The service family really does everything to make your stay mor eperfect. Although they claim not to be trained for tourist business I would give them excellent grades for their services! It is nice and quiet on the premises, security is poresent but not in such a way that it would intimidate guests, plus they are helpful and friendly for guests. Remember not to expect a vibrant nig
