The shower and water facilities in the bathroom were poor due to lack of pressure for the shower and also hot water not always available, bath took ages to fill.I was asked for full amount of payment on check out although had paid in advance total hotel amount, extras only to be paid for,so poor administration systems in place, get sorted.

The breakfast buffet was the highlight...it was great! Very nice variety and tasted good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They always had a warm welcome. There was no hot water (at least in our room) all three days we stayed but the bed and pillows were comfy. The last day, though, we saw a mouse run under our bed. Most of the weight room equipment was not in working order and very old. Though, it wasn't the greatest area there was a Starbucks and McDonald's across the street. If you need to be in the Quezon City area and can't deal with heavy traffic from commuting, then I would recommend this hotel for the price, but if you don't need to be in this area I would definitely look elsewhere. If you do stay, make sure everything is put back in its place (they check the room well before you leave), we were almost charged for a pad of paper and a towel that had been moved.

As hotel stays go, Sulo rates as distinctly average as far as guest experience goes. The service was friendly and efficient for the most part, but (with only one or two exceptions) was not particulary warm or outstanding. Rooms (we stayed in two different rooms at the hotel over the course of our holiday in the Philippines) were clean and generally comfortable. In-room facilities were adequate but we would have appreciated an in-room safe, hairdryer, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Likhang Kamay: enjoys the patronage of the Hubert H Fellows Association along with the departments of Trade, Industry and Tourism. Once a year in March or April, local artisans come together to display and sell their finest works.
Moriones Festival: this annual festival is held in Marinduque and features re-enactments of the story of Longinus. City streets are transformed into a stage for the production.
Senakulo: Holy Week is observed with great fervour across the Philippines. Several sombre processions and pageants are held at this time, highlighted by a re-enactment of Christ's Passion. The depth of the Catholic roots of the Philippines is evident during this festival, with a wealth of rites and services widely attended. If you visit the Philippines during this time, you're likely to come across planned observances anywhere in the country, though the greatest concentration of events is in Manila.
