Location of the hotel is excellent close the shopping areas, you can secure meter taxi very easy due to that. Loby, reception desik and concierge with the staff are OK. There is no wirless enternet and this the worst thing in this hotel.

Our stay at the Richmonde Hotel was very positive. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a large selection of delicious food. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There are several shopping malls within walking distance.
My only complaint is the cost of internet service in the business center and laundry service.

The Richmonde Hotel provides everything one needs while staying in Manila without being over the top on luxury. In other words, very good value for your money. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The lobby and room were comfortable, functional and welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel and stay there again, myself.

Good location, next to SM mall. Had a guy next door singing and talking in low tones till 3am in the morning. I would have complained if not for the fact that I slept later than he was. And my Sunday, not other 4 days, newspapers went missing in my room. So I did not tip the housekeeping when I left. But I like the cashiers/front desk and door men very much, very helpful and friendly.

I had planned to go to Cebu (the reservations didn't go through) and did not travel with proper atire for the Richmonde's Facilities. That was my fault. The Suite I stayed in on my first night was excellent. The Standard room I stayed in for the remainder was fine. The service was excellent and the staff was fantastic. Would I stay there again? Yes, if I could get the Internet Rate. The Hotel Airport Taxi is the best way to go to and from the Airport and the Richmonde. Access to taxis to go elsewhere is very simple to do. The MegaMall is right around the corner and one of the recommended taxis can take you there. Bring your own LapTop if you want to get on the Web. The only other alternative is at the Internet Cafe at the MegaMall .. (one hour: 58 Pesos = $1.01) That's cheap! All in all I had a great trip.

Has all the facilities within the hotel for a businessman and within walking distance to shops. Nice boutique hotel and probably one of the better ones in the Philippines... and I've stayed in many. We extend our stay for 6 days, its almost perfect the staff were friendly, helpful, proffessionalism wise were great. But unfortunately one front desk manager is so rude not friendly, HE is not customer service oriented person . . . (needs additional training)
Well, dispite of this I can still recommend this nice place to our friend and hopefully I stay again next year or so.

This is the second time my family and I have stayed at the Richmonde. Provided one is not looking for the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel, the Richmonde is a good choice. The room size is adequate - not cramped but not spacious either. If the main areas you are interested in are in the Pasig-Ortigas area, you will find the hotel conveniently located. My wife and I could easily walk to two major shopping malls, some of the offices we needed to visit and one of the up and coming universities in the country. And if walking is not suitable, the hotel staff will get you a taxi. I did find that the front desk staff is not uniformly friendly or helpful. The majority of them are very friendly and helpful but some are not quite as helpful and that can be irksome. Our family considers work-out facilities to be very important and what the Richmonde has to offer is really quite good. We liked the breakfast buffet but because the restaurant is quite small, it does get a bit crowded.
