The Hotel Staff, as well as the Hotel, Pearl Manila Hotel, were fantastic, all the staff went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible,,,the rooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and room service,(24 hours a day), is outstanding...I would recommend that you allow the doorman to get your taxi, He will acknowledge the driver, and also record the license number, just in case, all in all, a perfect place....

Great for the price. Location convenient to many activities either by foot or short taxi ride. Watched NY Eve fireworks from pool veranda. That was a highlight. Staff helpful. Yes, there were minor glitches. It's not five-star, but so what?

The size of bed is small and aicon is noisy. The new painting smell is surrounding the room. View is great and you can see the Manila bay through the window. There are many restaurents near by and LTR station is a few step away

The front desk lady of the hotel was not helpful. He never tried to smile at guest when being approach for check in. She is very impolite. Room was average in size but poor facilities. The corridor going toward your room has an awful smell. There are only two (2) lift available thus make servicing very slow. You have to wait for 5 to 10 minutes or more than 20 minutes during peak time to get into the lift. I do not recommend this hotel for leisure traveller.

The staff could use some friendly smiling faces and the lobby badly needed some good A/C... My stay was supposed to be "pre-paid" but I found myself in the desk for the activation of my key twice in one day - that's annoying. Not advisable for 2-3 days stay, I think it is better if you go on weekly or monthly basis.

The decor of the hotel was dated. The usage of space within the room was quite poor. TV in the bedroom but not in the lounge. Bathroom condition was poor and looked old. The whole feel of the hotel was good for business people staying for one or two nights, or for the local college students. I would not recomend this hotel for a romantic holiday. The hotel has not been upgraded in many years.

Terrible hotel. The room was not clean. There was a huge dead cockroach in middle of room and the floor was dirty. The staff was not friendly. We did not get our wake up call, nor did we get any help getting a taxi. I will not stay there again. I will not recommend it to anyone.

Front Desk staff and management forgot their professionalism and mannerism when servicing visiting guests. They lack friendliness and courtesy. I did not hear welcoming greetings of any sort. We felt like a burden to them than as guests to be served. The hotel is average. Nothing special about it. I rather spend my nights somewhere I feel welcomed and where manners are appreciated.

I personally could recommend this Hotel in terms of its good service, quality and great value/cost especially for overnight stays. The suites are still in good condition except for some trivial malfuntion particularly of its faulthy lamp and lights which was immediately fix right after I addressed my concerns. Moreover, please take note of hidden charges, strings attached and misqoutations that the management usually adds on your total/final billing before checking out such as local phone calls. Allegedly based on their leaflets and hotel's information guide, those local calls mentioned-aboved were free of charge for clients staying with suite rooms, but later been charged on our account. So better verify with the management so you won't get surprised and even get disappointed.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing,the room that I was staying the bathroom was flooding. And they moved me in another room which is not bad but after a while their aircondition was dripping lots of water. and I have to come down at the front desk to complain a couple times.

I chose Pearl Manila as it is the nearest and most accessible hotel from my family's residence. For my next trip, if ever there will be, i would prefer not to stay at this hotel again unless they change the front desk's way of dealing with guests and most especially if the Assistant Manager is changed. The main problem i encountered is that the reception/front desk people are very confused, dont know how to calculate and very unorganized. I believe the hotel's reservation system is a little messed up. Thanks anyways, to the hotel manager for upgrading my reserved 3 superior rooms to a penthouse suite during my wedding day. But, overall the front desk is very problematic. They have a Christmas promo that they tried to avoid giving to us. But, my mom and I insisted as i know we are right. So far, when i left we got the free rooms, but i think the Assistant Manager is still confused about this.
