I found it to be a modest hotel providing good value for the price. The location is directly across Roxas Blvd from the U.S. Embassy, Manila. It is about a 15 minute ride to Pinoy Aquino Airport by taxi, maybe 20 minutes by taxi to Robinson's, and a brisk 5 minute walk to the Rizal Memorial. ...

Miramar Hotel is in an old building. Location is good, in waterfront Manila Bay. Staff friendly. A/C good, but room was to dark. Recommended to use safety deposit box.

i stayed at the la carona hotel, and it was 10 times better than the miramar. The miramar is dated and needs , decorating the windows are old and you can hear all the noise from the street, not value for money at all.

Room was good size and nicely furnished. Elevator is ancient and slow. Good location across the street from US Embassy.

This is an aging hotel. If you are going to visit the US Embassy then this is a convenient place for an overnight stay.

The elevator was not working during my stay, which made the climb to the 3rd floor a bit laborious at times.

The hotel is located along the famous Manila Bay, with a beautiful scenery during the sunset. You will never have a problem explaining to a taxi driver for the location, just pronounce it as 'de-mond'...
