Treat yourself and stay at The Mandarin Oriental everything was excellent especially the food at all the restaurants. I was shocked a hotel of this level did not have a jacuzzi; a must for weary traveler's to soak their sore bones. The large tub in the bathroom almost made up for it. I will stay here again the next time i visist Manila....

This is my second stay in Mandarin Hotel and to be honest i really love to stay in this hotel, food selection is always great and fresh, hotel staff are friendly from check in to check out. They really attend to my request like when i requested for a bigger room and upper floor i got it. I love to hang out at the poolside and just enjoying a lazy warm afternoon w/a beer. When i requested for drink at the poolside, immediately i was attended,i dont have to wait for a long time.Poolside staff always keep an eye on there guest.Once there was a very strong wind immediately they reacted by closing all umbrellas to keep all guest safe.I wish all the hotel staff to continue so.In my next visit to makati for sure i stay again in mandarin hotel.I was really satisfied by the service rendered. Hotel location is just near to all those business and recreational areas and just a few minutes from the airport. Raymundo, Switzerland

Overall good - don't know whether the hotel has aircon in the corridors, which can make getting to your room quite a difficult task!

Pro: Good area, good hotel, good employees. Con: Charge a lot for the hotel's own transportation; there does not seem to be air conditioning in the corridor - it is very hot at times.

My 4th stay at the hotel over the years. The service remains high, but the rooms could use some sprucing up. Things are starting to look a bit worn. I had one meal at the deli, it was OK. Nothing special. Friendly people and good service as usual. Location is fine. Still, it is a reasonable value.

The lock of the bathroom did not work because the deadbolt did not fit the receive hole.

Staff were excellent. Safe location. The "superior" rooms are a little tired. Broadband is very expensive.

Have you ever walked in a hotel where the staff greets you with your last name? Well, this is what kind of service you would want on this very hospitable hotel. Great staff is what makes your stay a memorable one. Anything you ask, they will make it happen. Food was great too, which is a plus. The hotel needs a little updating, but the price you pay is still reasonable.

I expect nothing less from the Mandarin Oriental. The room amenities were perfect and the facilities were great. I was disappointed in not being able to use the fantastic pool as I was only around for 2 nights and had not time out of my busy schedule. It's a little noisy, but what hotel in Manila isn't?

The only one I really liked at the hotel was a taxi driver who did his job real well. The night we arrived it was some kind of function at one of the restaurants so it was impossible to get a beer. Had to to a "cigar" place and drink a whiskey instead. When ´booking the hotel breakfast was included but when coming down to the restaurant to eat staff questioned if we really had paid for it! Really embarrassing in front of other customers. If it is such a good hotel don't they have any control over what have paid for? And still, when checking out I we were charged for breakfast again! I will never use this hotel again. However staff outside the entrance are nice and they know how to give service. I expected a lot more from this hotel.
