"My only complain is that it took more than an hour and 3 phone calls before I could get an ironing board sent to the room. Otherwise everything else was excellent. The room was better than many other 3 star hotels I've been to. I would classify it as 4 star standard. The elevator was too hot though, I felt suffocated. Everyone at the concierge and reception desk was warm and friendly. I expected a wireless internet connection. Had to use the internet cafe across the street. As a muslim, finding halal food is an issue in Manila, but there are 2 middle eastern restaurants in the vicinity of Makati hotel. Taxis were readily available."
