The staff are very friendly and the general set up of the hotel is good, however, i was up most of the night forced to listen to "I did it my way" by the neighbouring Karoke outlet. The previous night it was roadworks. Bring your ear plugs when staying here. Otherwise it was nice enough. Oh, and may i suggest the hotel purchases a toaster for making toast at the inclusive buffet breakfast. it would help. Cheers

I always enjoy my stay with Legend Villas Hotel due to its proximity to transportation shopping center and most of all it's the staff, who are very respectful, friendly and helpful and always with a ready smile

The external of the hotel looks good at the outside. To much wood used on the inside. Rooms are boring. Allot of new construction around the area. Always traffic congestion. Breakfast seems to be for Philipinos and Americans only, nothing to suit Europeans. This visit I didn't have hot water in the shower. I stay here regular at least 3 times a year.

Value hotel near mass transit line. Clean, safe, sort of modern and basic. Definite tourist class, but thrifty and utilitarian for those on a budget or if you just need a place to sleep and have easy access to downtown Manila. Breakfast is basic and in line with the price.

The rooms are fine but you never have a good view. The swip cards used to open the doors can be difficult at times as they sometimes fail to open the door.
Noise levels are crazy as you are 200 metres from Edsa Highway.
The buses and jeepneys are fitted with illegal air horns when used would awaken the dead.
Set buffet breakfast is Philpino only. They dont serve American or International breakfast.
The airport taxi is a rip off as it belongs to staff members. The meter taxi costs around 150 peso to the airport, the hotel charges 750 peso plus their demanded tip around 100 peso.
The porters can be very demanding regarding your luggage. Everybody is only interested in tips they recieve.
I have been living and travelling throughout the Philippines for 11 years. My above comments can be found at almost all the hotels within Metro Manila.
I spent 2 weeks at Baguio City for my family holiday. It is the complete opposite there. Friendly, good meter taxis and pleasent hotel staff.
My main problem in Metro Manila would be the taxi drivers. They are a problem. It is always better to try and get a taxi from a good hotel even if you dont stay there. The security note the taxi number and drivers name.
1. Most drivers try to agree a good fare before activating the sealed meter.
2. Some refuse to drive certain routes because of heavy rain fall.
3. If you have more than 1 luggage bag they dont stop.
4. Some drivers activate the meter and still request a higher far

I like the hotel for the classical setting with the look of the old Philippines environment and I would like to comment on the friendliness of the hotel's staffs. The hotel's Jaccuzi was not working, and the restaurants' food tends to be overpriced. Furthermore they should provide some internet connection for the guests who would need to access the net. In addition, the room that we are staying is near to the road, hence it is rather noisy most of the time. Overall, its an average tourist class with reasonable pricing. Book the hotel when you have tight budget. Its rather spacious with room big enough for two persons to walk around. Clean and with good room service. However, room is beside the road, hence rather noisy most of the time.

Overall a very good hotel; good and friendly staff, clean rooms, good buffet in the morning and a mall at walkingdistance...This is not a classy hotel, but when you weight the value for money, than this hotel scores very high...
