Rated #24 for all Manila hotels
I have stayed on quite a few occasions in the same area at different hotels, and the Inter- Continental is the best value for money by far. I will continue to stay there from now on. It is very convenient, has large rooms and is right next to the major shopping centres. ...

$28 for very average breakfast buffet for two. Too expensive, especially when considering like-level hotels with similar rooms for less and breakfast buffet included.

You get value for money , certainly in the business district. However, almost all hotels have wireless internet for free, in Intercon you have to pay 20 USD for 24 hours!

Due to a late booking, i was not able to get a non-smoking room as well as king sized bed. Even though the front office promised to move me to one if there was one available the next day, they had probably forgotten aboout it.Otherwise, the hotel was a lttle dated, but it was clean and comfortable enough. Generally the staff were friendly. It was well located, next to Glorietta 4 in the moddle of Makati - restaurants and shopping was within easy reach. It was also next to the main thoroughfare of Ayala Avenue, so getting to the corporate offices along the business belt was easy enough Due to the security checks, there were not many taxis that would come and wait near the hotel driveway. So getting a taxi was a bit difficult, may have to plan for more time to hail a taxi or take a hotel car at 8x the costs.
