Excellent choice. Shangri-La is one of the best hotel chains in the world. In Manila, the hotel is perfect, from the bellmen to the housekeeping crew. If you order room service, the food is just great and the time you wait is no more than 20 minutes. Everybody is very friendly and I will choose the same hotel next time....

Noisy music during breakfast time might be prefered by the noisy crowd of young Asian people - yet this is not standard of a five star Business hotel!

As I arrived late at night so had to dine in the cafe "Heat". However the staff was rather laid off and food came rather slowly. Even during breakfast, the staff there did not seem to be very attentive and ignored chances where they could proactively help the customers. The food wasn't that great as well. The charge for IDD is quite ridiculous as well!

My room safe went out-of-order when I was using it but your staff quickly fixed it. Your cleaning guy'd asked me when he could clean my room after he'd checked my mini-bar, so I replied 10.30am but when I returned from my meeting at 12noon, my room still hadn't been cleaned! He showed up quickly when I called for him and his excuse was he'd many rooms to do but I'm thinking, then why ask me for the time to clean my room when you can't keep to it?!I was happy with your guy at the main entrance who handled the transport, because he was unfailingly courteous and efficient in getting me taxis to my meetings and I saw he treated other guests/visitors very well too.

Despite the huge volume of this hotel which could be considered as far away from its customers, I will point out the warm welcoming and sense of hospitality. I really appreciated.

The staff were the most friendly that I have come across, especially in a business type hotel. When away on business that sort of service is apprciated. But if you can avoid the breakfasts I would...
