Its location was perfect for our family needs - directly across the road was the Podium Mall, the Mega Mall as well as the Shangrila Plaza which was just walking distance from the hotel. It was close to all the places we wanted to go - we made it our base whilst in Manila. Great facilities, was very clean and the staff very cordial. will definitely stay here again. it was able to cater to our basic needs - had hair dryer, microwave, dishes, coffee and tea, etc in our room. the gym, though small was good enough. the restaurants were good and reasonably priced. all the staff were very att...

The first suite we stayed in - Suite 1803, the carpet in the masters room need to be changed. it was dirty. but the 2 other suites we stayed in had new and clean carpets. but all the rest - the bathrooms, toilets, lounge including the lifts and lobbies were all clean. we made this hotel our base whilst in manila because of its location. just across is the Podium mall and other malls. taxis are everywhere. it was easier to take a taxi from the back door - facing the Podium Mall.

Good location (once you've found the place the first time) but they do seem to be a bit long on presentation and a bit short on substance. For example why the emphasis on giving you a 'suite'? We stayed in a 'junior suite'. You do get a microwave and a toaster on the shelf above the mini-bar, niether of which we used, and there is a settee, but really the dimensions and the layout are no more than what you would expect in an Intercon style room. Another example - the mechanical piano serenades you at breakfast time but there is no bacon and the cook can do you an omelette but not a couple of fried eggs. I would stay here again, though - clean and well maintained and in a nice neighbourhood.

The room given on my first day was facing adjacent construction site close enough the workers can see inside of my room. On the following day, I discovered that there are lots of small ants covering food left on the table the other night. GYM was closed for renovation. Broad band internet access ($15.00/day) was too slow (average 300K/sec) The room was spacious and clean except the one that I was sent the first night. Wish you luck.

The room was not over priced. it was the check out prices: mini-bar, room service prices etc. were almost as much as the 6 nite hotel room price.

The staff were the most friendly that I have come across, especially in a business type hotel. When away on business that sort of service is apprciated. But if you can avoid the breakfasts I would...
