Outstanding Service - Management and staff doing a great job. Room clean and comfortable. Hotel security was very good. I would stay there again. For business people with expense accounts there are probably better places to stay. However, for the single person on vacation who enjoys the nightlife, this is worth checking out....

For a 3 star hotel , the room size , location, and quality of staff provides good value for your money. Just be warned.. the elevators are very slow !

Very inexpensive...and the room and facilities were consistent with that. The room was rather grim, but it had been well cleaned. Located amidst the "nightlife" of Makati, so you can expect some nocturnal comings and goings.

this is the worst hotel in the world. its full of cockroaches, the shower didnt have hot water and wasnt fixed when i told them to. the decor is from the 1970's. its dark, needs paint badly. the cost for a 1 bed suite was p3000, i checked out after 1 day and went to the eurotel hotel in malate, its opposite robinsons mall and is 1000 cheaper than the citadell. if u book to stay in the citadell inn, be prepared to check out the next day

For the single male traveling in Manila who wants to be close to the night clubs and bars, this is OK. It is not a family hotel, it is a single man's hotel and is geared to male guets taking their girl friends there for the night. The room I had was OK but needed a renovation. The condition of the bathroom and shower must be rated as poor. Staff were helpful and cheerful. Right in the center of Makati where there are many night clubs and bars. Plenty of taxis, trykes and jeepnys available. the hotel is old and needs renovation so it is hard to say it more than average here. Can recommend only for single males looking to be in the bar area of Manila.

Very bad beds in two of our three rooms, but superb location and a nice hotel even if it may need to invest in some new furniture....

The stay was good except for the dust mites that were all over the room. Dust mites present in the room caused bad attack of bites on us. Easy to fget cabs and jeeps around the hotel. Good location, reasonable price, but rooms should be checked or cleaned and free from mites. Perhaps its good to disinfect rooms once in a while.

Although good size, the room was a bit worn, the bathroom, although clean needs some refubishement. The bed was not comfortable. Room needs update. It also smelled like a smoking room when it was not. TV is old. Couches are old. Mirror was cracked.

We liked the location of the hotel. Very convenient and easy to get down to makati. No worries about food as many places offering f&b around the hotel.

i did like the respect of the privacy and the courteousness of the Hotel's staff. i did not like the dimension of the bathroom because it is too small for one's suite room. the standard service of the bathroom is not good enough in terms of giving us the right quantity like towels and tissue papers. Also in the bathroom the standard of electric power security is dangerous because the switch is near where the water goes. The electric security also is not safe enough in all the suite. There are also flying animals inside the room like beatles and etc.. The switch of the lampshade we had in the bedroom is much dangerous it is because when you turn it on/off there is possibility in having electric schock when you touch it. The extra service is very expensive for the standard of the hotel.

My expectations before i checked into the hotel is not that much. Value for money is absolutely obvious. However, the best part of my stay is its location. Excellent. Almost all is in close proximity. This reminded me of Bankok.

If you don't mind sleeping with the bugs, it is okay. I would not recommend it. I much prefer the Atrium Hotel where I usually stay, however there were no rooms available.

Two lifts for such high-rise hotel is too few. I spent too much of my time waiting. My room needed an update and there is no breakfast room or bar area in the hotel. But the hotel is convenient for the bars.

Its not exactly a hotel but an Inn. The lift takes forever, the interieur is quite old, and its not really clean. However, location is good for barhoppers and relatively close to the shopping malls (Greenbelt).

Location wise it was fine as it is near what most male tourists come to the city for. However the rooms, reception area, as well as others areas are in dire need of a makeover. This hotel is truly beginning to show its age. The room furniture was very dated and the hardwood floors needed redoing. It is not a three star as advertised. No bathtubs in the rooms, loud window air conditioners and only one tv and one in-room phone being some of the room's shortcomings. The pool was not in service, the elevators were slow and often full of staff carts and cleaners. It is a budget hotel and would rate better for possible a week long or more stays as the rooms do come with a kitchen area. More than once I viewed couples coming into the hotel with coolers and food dishes obviously meant for party/celebratory type stays. I feel with the other comparably priced hotels near this area that are either new or have gone through recent extensive renovation, the Citadel is going to have to do some

No big impression. Only one thing people should be noticed it that elevators run so slow. Otherwise because Burgos is just a few blocks ahead, fun is near so out of the room you will stay.
