What me and my fiancee liked most in Grand Regal are the staffs. Grand Regal is the best hotel me and my fiancee has ever been to, we've been to some other hotels in davao but none is as friendly and accommodating as grand regal that's why we both decided to always stay at grand regal whenever i visit phils. What matters most to guests are the friendliness of the staffs cause they make it worth staying for in the hotel. Grand Regal Hotel staffs are all very friendly and greets all the guests at all times with a smile.

I have stayed at all top Hotels in Davoa and Grand Regal was the best right from the pickup at the Airport to the freindly staff and great food. Top notch .Well Done.

DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL for 3 main reasons! First, the staff is very unprofessional and don't know what they're doing. I requested for a room upgrade and was advised a specific charge. I said ok to the charges but was harrassed the next night stating that I have to pay more or I have to leave my current room. Of course we protested and they let us stay but only for one night and the hotel would have to take the difference from the receptionist's paycheck since it was her mistake that she gave us the wrong price for the upgrade. Who does this? Never heard of a hotel manager punishing the employees by cutting the paycheck. So of course, being there for the hoildays and all, we said we'll just pay the difference so the front desk person would not have to pay out of pocket. Point is that this was ridiculous!Second, the water system is exposed to open air and to pigeons. The pigeons use the hotel water system as their watering whole...very unsanitary and could lead to serious diseases! Third, I asked for an express service to have my skirt ironed. It was delievered back to me with a huge burn mark on the skirt. Housekeeping lady said sorry with a big fat smile on her face. Enough said. Stay at this hotel at your own risk...literally
