Outstanding facility... perhaps the best resort in the Philippines. Excellent for families with children. Very clean, clear and the largest swiming pools I have ever seen. The staff is the most friendly, professional personnel, going out of their way to assist you and make your stay at Plantation Bay the best experience of your life. The food is exceptional and we truly enjoyed the entertainment... the dancing chefs, waiters and waitresses... the cultural dance teams... the singers and other dancers. I have only the most favorable comments regarding this facility. Thanks for a great and enjoyable experience. We shall return.

Stayed here 5 years ago and was very pleased so came back again. This time not the same, the staff did not have the same happiness with their jobs as before, the food in the restaurants has gone way down in quality since our last visit and the overall experience not as good as expected. However Plantation is still a very unique and nice upscale place to stay a few days and has many nice amenities. Asked hotel to give us a wake up call on our last day so we could make our flight in the early AM. Needless to say its a good thing we had a back up plan or we would still be there right now.

A very good hotel. Stayed here when I first visited my "wife" to be on the island of Mactan in 2003. Good hotel, staff excellent and the facilities with the lagoons and pools superb BUT even by western standards this hotel is expensive. Would stay here again but you can find other good hotels that are cheaper. If lazing in a pool drinking at the bar is your thing then yes please visit. Its also a romantic hotel. Worth a look.
