Costalbella had trouble keeping its Internet working, and if you want to stay in shape at the nonexistent gym, good luck. It would be unsafe to go for a run in the general area. Indeed it is probably unsafe to unlock your taxi's doors on the way there. The staff is wonderfully loving, and the rooms are pretty clean. The breakfast buffet will satisfy your coffee needs, but I think whole wheat bread must be illegal in the Philippines. The staff should be paid a bit more, though, since a little more money should flow down to those who work. The rooms had a refrigerator, so you can bring some snacks like fruit and nuts and beer and milk. You should also bring your own wash cloth.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Food is good but prices are on the high side. The place is quite isolated so there are no other food outlets nearby. The resort offers a free shuttle that brings the guests to the city as well. The beach is not so great thought. It is narrow and rocky. You need beach shoes so you will not hurt your feet. Overall, I would say it was a good stay. There's a restaurant staff named Bernz who is the nicest fellow on that side of the planet. He is Costabella's gem!

In this price category one has to expect more facilities, i.e. for exapmple airconditioning for dining, or at least a bar, airconditioned. The too small Kiosk is overstuffed with the wrong and useless items. A proper convinient store is absolutly needed, given the far away location of this place.

|The hotel and its facilities where of a very high standard and the staff was warm and very friendly. The a la carte menu was very good especially the seafood dishes but the breakfast menu was very repetitive However what spoilt the resort for me was the transportation system to and from cebu, regarding taxi's.The majority of drivers always trying to pull a con and overcharge by trying not to use their meters and travelling the longest routes. Whilst transportation isnt the hotels responsibility the staff did try to ensure the booked taxis operated correctly.

The resort was the best we had stayed in in the Philippines. Certainly it looked enchanting and was a welcome relief after our other experiences. Numbers of things did not work in our room. We did report these but nothing was done to fix them while we stayed there. Unfortunately it rained throughout the week we were there so we felt trapped being so far out of any other tourist activities. That is not the fault of the hotel but it did emphasis our isolation. None of the swimming and water activities could be used because of the weather. However, the atmosphere was extremely friendly and the staff made the best of it. I would recommend the resort to any friend interested in going and just hope they got better weather.

We felt a little closed in at the resort and there wasn't much else in the way of services (bars, cafes etc )outside of the resort but the resort itself was lovely, great food, friendly staff.

Nothing to like - place was rundown and falling apart and had dumb house rules and beach area terrible - very misleading - would never return or recommend - i travel to phil often and this was by far my worse experience.
