Marriott Hotel Cebu is great in location. Only few meters stroll to Ayala Center, one of the most prominent mall in Cebu. Although, the hotel is very old, rooms are old too but very well maintained and efficiently cleaned. No complain about it. Breakfast is really good, with a variety of international cuisine. Staff were really good and efficient, they were friendly, courteous, and always greet you with a smile. The one who make up my room named Gabriel, was efficient, good and clean your room very well. He sees to it that your request through a candid note left in the room are attended to. Room is average, old but well maintained, cleaned properly and cozy. To meet a five (5) star standard. I think, they need to change the mattress of the bed. It was already a little bit worn out. Hotel facilities are old but very clean. Need a little bit of refurbishing in order to meet a five (5) star standard. Food were good. Lots of variety. International cuisine. Absolutely clean. Very well cleaned. No complain. Concierge were efficient. No complain. Swimming is small but fine. Like a little swimming pool at back of your house. Near Ayala Mall. Only few minutes walk. Lots of available means of transportation to and from the hotel.

I made the room reservations on line with hoteltravel.com. The on line service was very efficient, I was able to make amendments to my reservation and received confirmation within 24 hours. I just wish that the reception desk at the Marriott could have been just as efficient. The personnel were confused with regards to the details of my reservation and I had to clarify and show my vouchers 3 times over our 4 day stay.

Excellent staff and location, beautiful facilities. Located close to shopping and business centers. Great security. Seems just a bit pricey, though.

City centre hotel across the road from the banks. Have now stayed here twice with my Filipino wife. All hotel very clean, service and professionalism cant be knocked. Typical Marriott values I guess. Certainly recommend BUT be aware that the rental cars through the hotel desk are way more than booking "locally" etc.
